This is a very important document for incoming freshmen - it tells you exactly what you need to bring as well a lot of information on the different programs here at The Citadel.
Please note, you are more than welcome to use the Cadet Store located on campus. Shoes are an importing item and we have a good inventory of them. The Store will close after Graduation on May 4th, but you will be able to purchase some items like shoes and boots from the temporary store they are setting up in the Tailor Shop located next door.
Shoes are probably the most important thing to bring. . . .no, let me correct that, a shoes that have been broken in! Nothing worse than getting blisters from a new pair of shoes! They can sideline a freshman for days. Recommend getting sized at a reputable shoe store and ordering your dress shoes and boots early, then break them in!
